Care Certificate
The Care Certificate is an identified set of 15 standards that health and social care workers adhere to in their daily working life. Designed with the non-regulated workforce in mind, the Care Certificate gives everyone the confidence that workers have the same introductory skills, knowledge and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe and high quality care and support.
We are committed to developing the healthcare workforce from new starters to existing staff, and to encourage Continuing Professional Development (CPD) across all roles. Introduction of the Care Certificate for Health Care Assistants (HCAs) will equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to provide safe and compassionate care. We are working with HCAs and their practices across South East London with the aim that all HCAs will be supported to complete the Care Certificate.
